Donate your gently used adult winter clothing! Your donation can provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to those in need. Donations will be accepted in the Atrium of the Main Library. The public is welcome to browse and take what you need, no exchange required.

David Marvuglio will discuss the origins and evolution of Metal Music as well as its cultural impact. Learn about the pioneering artists and songs that shaped this genre of music into what it is today, as well as the subcultures and subgenres that have emerged from it. 
Wednesday, November 18 | 6:30 - 8 PM
Learn about Peddocks Island of Boston Harbor and Mike McDevitt, its only full-time resident. After the screening of The Last Islander (2026), there will be a panel with the filmmaker Joe Berkely, tugboat captain Mike McDevitt, and former state senator Bob Hedlund.
